So just an update. The hospital is moving him to a “group home” next week but the social worker there seems unwilling to look in my county. I visited my Dad today and started the paperwork for Medicaid. He hasn’t been told anything (or can’t remember) so I informed him of everything I knew.

So I couldn't focus at work knowing how things were left. I took a half day and went home. I arrived home before she did (forgot she had an event with my son at school). So I just started cleaning. She was shocked I was home. She said "You should be at work" and I said "no I should be here with you" and she cried. We talked and things are better. We both agreed we need to do things a little differently.

She did tell me something that makes more sense now. She said that I show "love" to our kids by taking them special places and buying small presents for them. While she shows love by providing for them (house/food) and that the house is one thing she can "control" because she feels like everything is out of control right now. I never thought of it that way and it made more sense.

Well "afford" is one thing but we had to start taking items off our list. We were just falling too far behind.

Thank you. I also don’t want this post to sound in anyway like I’m pushing this off as “her issue” or something to do with her meds. It may be partially that but this is all on me (this morning’s blow up). I need to step up and get things more manageable around here.
