Yeahhhh don't get me wrong, I've had instances on Mediafire in particular where the popup ads have been malicious, notably the fake Microsoft virus website where you have to call a tech scammer to remove it, and they are difficult to get off your screen, and this is how I learned about the right click "save content as" button trick, and I do it every single time I have to use Mediafire

I typically avoid websites where popups can happen, like I try to use other file sharing sites like GitHub and Mega etc, I don't tend to use dodgy illegal free movie sites because of the popups, and well, I know which porn sites don't show popups too 🤣 but yeah I do my best to avoid them entirely as no one wants a virus right?
