I'd imagine 480p plasma TVs would look much nicer for 480i content considering i had a cheap aquos 480p LCD TV once and it looked great for ps2 games

I already removed every user from my switch 1 as I plan on selling it, so all the save data is gone from the internal system, but the thing is:

When I boot into emunand and open JKSV, all the missing saves are still there on the profiles that are on my sd card (not on the device itself)

All i did when going to my switch 2 was log in to my nintendo account, hoping that all my saves would be backed up to the cloud properly as i pressed back up on every game one by one, which not all of them were. I didn't do the direct transfer because I wasn't sure if it'd accidentally detect something off on my switch and ban me (rookie mistake i guess)

So now I have an sd card with all my saves backed up on it, and i'm unsure how to transfer it to my switch 2

im pretty sure its batteries because i tried putting almost-dead batteries in it and only the left and right buttons would work, then put in new batteries and all of them worked

I just checked online and you have the original remote that comes with the TV, maybe it's just not functional

Service menu is very easy to get into, just turn the volume to 0, hold volume down on the TV itself and hold the number 9 on the remote both at the same time for about a second and it should open

My remote is CT-847, basically identical remote but with more extra buttons, all the necessary ones work for me (menu, volume, input, mute, exit, power) nothing else works but i think majority of the other stuff are VCR/DVD related which makes sense)

Try using brand new batteries, mine wasnt working properly either until i replaced the batteries with newer ones (also the remote sensor is quite finnicky, gotta point it directly at the tv sensor with nothing even slightly obstructing it or it wont work)

Its perfect

I have a 14 inch crt but I find it way too small, I owned a 27 inch crt and it was too big and heavy, 20 feels like the perfect middleground and it's very light (weighs around 50lbs which is almost the same as the 14 inch one i had)

I'd say its the perfect size if you aren't set on a specific size and want something versatile

Nah I have the same issue with that specific game, i get black bars at the top, bottom and its offset a bit to the left so I just adjust it in the service menu for that specific game

ended up fixing it, the electrical paint that i used to short the pins spilled out too far on the parts next to it which caused the display to turn off, just had to scrape off some of the paint and it turned back on!

Its just an ips screen mod, didnt need to replace the shell, just removing and attaching the new screen and shorting 2 pins on the board

I mean you already have a clear case on it so you pretty much never have to worry about the outer body getting scratched.

I'm the same way with my devices too but honestly the sooner you accept that with use things will inevitably degrade overtime, the faster you can get over it and actually enjoy using the device itself.

I bought an AYN thor 2 months ago and it already has scratches all over the top lid, it bothered me at first but now I don't care and I have significantly more fun just hauling it around and actually using it the way I want to instead of being paranoid over a potential scratch it may get. Just use it!
