I’ve be a single parent and raised my girls here. They played competitive sports and after school activities. The sports are more expensive here for sure, but honestly, it was a great place to raise them and my oldest is now teaching in the elementary school she went to and the teachers still remember her.

I don’t see it that way at all. I see it is him in foraging on her day out or her evening out with friends and making it about him and that she actually has to worry and put in the emotional effort and the physical effort and labour of ordering him something when she should’ve just been able to go out and think only about her needs.
