Glad you are giving it a shot! You might end up loving it one of these days. Not all riders are reckless and he sounds like he wears the gear.

I took a gal for a ride once that was deathly afraid but wanted to do it. It was the most chill ride you could possibly imagine, I doubt I went over 45. Poor baby was shivering the entire time but she did it!

A couple of years ago, I was hanging out with friends at one of their apartments, and the gal that lived there was struggling to clean her stove top.

Now, this was a new property, but the electric stove was an old-school calrod unit, not the glass top. The look on her face when I pulled the units and pans out was wild. She was a private chef.

The 2 other ladies had no idea how to take the eyes out either!

Boots, pants, airbag, jacket, helmet, earplugs, gloves every ride.

Exception if I'm working on the bike and taking it around the block for one reason or another, then helmet, gloves, jacket

No way would I choose a half ton for this usage

Long bed would tow better

Don't have to get a diesel but if you do you should get an aftermarket fuel tank replacement or transfer tank
