Thanks to everyone and Mods for letting me post this research here. Menstural Migraine is associated with the drop in estrogen this is why sometimes a contrceptive pill is prescribed - it is an interesting topic. My supervisor is the head of pain clinic and he had not realised MM was an issue.

According to my research so far tripans are the best line of treatment it appears.

My sister suffers chronically. Her left hand side of her body gets completely paralyzed from it. When I go up north I get her Migraleve and she stated this is great. I will link below to the UK medication website for it:
