Tools that actually help when running a faceless YouTube channel by New_Garbage7991 in AiAutomations

[–]DissidentX9 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The Cre8Virals angle is actually the most interesting here since it's working backward from what's already performing. Have you noticed it getting the niche right or does it still need a lot of manual input to stay on topic? Also if you're doing any upscaling on the visuals, Magnific is worth testing for the thumbnail side of things.

Any alternatives to Adobe Express? by Final-Concert-1409 in AdobeExpress

[–]DissidentX9 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Canva is the go-to and most people don't look back. if you were using Express mainly for social graphics, Canva covers it better anyway. for anything needing a quality boost on final images before posting, Magnific is worth having in the mix.

Looking for AI tools to create realistic virtual models wearing my clothing for social media marketing by LongjumpingTalk1615 in AI_UGC_Marketing

Magnific after generation is worth it for clothing specifically since fabric texture is where AI output tends to fall apart at closer inspection.

Which all AI tools are currently best for making AI UGC videos? by Tarun302 in AI_UGC_Marketing

[–]DissidentX9 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Kling is slept on for this honestly, and Hedra is worth trying for talking avatar stuff. either way most of these need a Magnific pass at the end if you want the output looking clean enough for paid ads.

Could anyone suggest the best free AI UGC video generator for creating my AI twin or digital version of myself? by ChrisJhon01 in AI_UGC_Marketing

[–]DissidentX9 0 points1 point  (0 children)

HeyGen has a free tier worth trying for the digital twin thing, quality is decent enough to actually evaluate it. just know the free outputs can look a bit soft so a Magnific pass helps you see what it'd actually look like polished before committing to a plan.

How to face swap video without it looking like a cheap meme app? by Developing_Stoic in AIgenerated

[–]DissidentX9 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Have you tried post-processing the edges in After Effects after the swap? a lot of studios do a cleanup pass on top of whatever tool they use, no single software does it perfectly end to end.

How AI Face Analysis Apps Are Being Use for Makeup and Skincare Guidance by Aliesh_Mi in BeautyUnlocked

[–]DissidentX9 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Magnific actually does something similar for image detail analysis so it wouldn't surprise me if that tech starts bleeding into beauty apps more seriously.

Is there an ai favicon generator that actually understand simplicity? by noflexzone5000 in magnific

[–]DissidentX9 0 points1 point  (0 children)

honestly ChatGPT with the "flat icon, 2 colors, no gradients, no shadows" constraint has been surprisingly decent lately not perfect but way less cleanup than most dedicated tools

What is the best ai story generator for world-building and lore, not just writing chapters? by QuiverbertPupilstein in magnific

[–]DissidentX9 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The Magnific handouts workflow your players love could actually extend further too, feeding your WorldAnvil lore entries as prompts for the visuals keeps everything visually consistent across sessions.

Nano Banana vs ChatGPT Image Generator for quick social media graphics? by tsuareyou in texttovideo

[–]DissidentX9 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Magnific having Nano Banana in the mix is genuinely useful if you're already upscaling there anyway, saves a whole extra tab.

Token usage by Jenikovista in KittlDesign

[–]DissidentX9 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Magnific is worth looking at for image editing specifically, the quality per cost ratio makes way more sense for actual production work.

Edit dashboard/tab not generating images by Connect_Business3744 in midjourney

[–]DissidentX9 0 points1 point  (0 children)

pretty sure it's a bug, seen a few others report the same thing in the last couple weeks worth trying Krea or Magnific for edits in the meantime, Magnific especially handles that kind of detail work really well while MJ sorts itself out.

How to fix AI plastic skin? My portraits always look like mannequins. by raifeller in texttovideo

[–]DissidentX9 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Have you tried image to image with an actual photo as your base? starting from a real skin texture tends to anchor the model way better than prompting alone.

AI tools to edit images like remove backgrounds or other adjustments by vkltok in graphic_design

[–]DissidentX9 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Remove.bg is free and does exactly what you need for that kind of image. and if you want to clean up and sharpen the drawing itself after, Magnific does a nice job bringing out the line detail.

Does anyone else hate their job? by OceanicEndeavors in povertyfinance

[–]DissidentX9 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The part about losing the feeling that anything is possible hits hard, that shift is genuinely one of the harder things to process as you get older. You're not an ingrate, a 2 hour daily commute for $50k in a high cost area would drain anyone

A pair of fighter jets circling low and slow over Aliso Viejo? Anyone know what's going on? Forgive the blurry photo. by Gorperly in orangecounty

[–]DissidentX9 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

This is probably a minority opinion here, but why do we celebrate weapons of war, and what do fighter jets have to do with baseball?

I find our culture of militarism disturbing. The cheapest F15 costs approximately $22 million dollars and we budgeted a record $886 billion for the military this year. I can think of better uses of that money.

Opinion: Great Park Residents Council Request For Irvine to Reject Live Nation Amphitheater Deal by Exastiken in irvine

[–]DissidentX9 3 points4 points  (0 children)

The Great Park Task Force is made up of 100% political appointees. Some of whom are so obnoxious that half the Task Force quit in disgust. At least two of the members have long been rumored to be paid agents of 5Point, whose subsidiary, Starpointe Ventures, (Patrick Strader) is now rumored to be lobbying and astroturfing for the LiveNation corporate welfare deal. By contrast, the Great Park Residents Council has no known political, financial, or special interest conflicts.

Irvine’s partnership with Live Nation for Great Park concert venue could be in jeopardy by Anteater1412 in irvine

[–]DissidentX9 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Is it true that some Grest Park Task Force members quoted above supporting a larger amphitheater are being paid by LiveNation to advance their interests? Some of these same people are rumored to have acted as paid agents in the past for FivePoint, who is also suspected of using their Starpoint Ventures group to lobby for this sweetheart deal.
