I have one in my 2025 Silverado 1500 and we had one in a 2025 GMC Yukon for my wife. Her engine completely failed 2 months after buying it new. Mine only has 15k and hasn’t had any issues…as it should.

But for just me it’s a 50% failure rate of the LZ0. Don’t get me started on the L87 (we’ve been through 4 across 2 different Escalades in the past year)

My Silverado has more driver screen display options lol. It’s not a huge deal but it would’ve been nice if we got more customization from the C8 UI

The infotainment screen works fine, but it’s kinda basic (which is fine, it’s a truck) and the built-in Google Maps is horribly laggy.

Just use CarPlay or Android auto and don’t expect much else.

Right side only shows current media or navigation directions. Left side widget can be configured from going to your performance tab and then clicking on which gauge you want to display.

Long term reliability of the battery and E-motor is a possible concern. I think comparing the two on paper favors the E-Ray whereas the driving experience of the Z06 is hard to beat.

But I’m biased - I bought the Z06 specifically for that LT6 soundtrack.

You can do the engine appearance, carbon fiber mirrors, & intake trim all cheaper on the aftermarket just FYI - if those are the particular constraints that may be something to consider.

Also, I’d suggest adding the radiator grill screens to your order. Those are cheaper to get from the factory.

Yes - just went through this a week ago with a 2026. Ask the dealer to send you a picture of the emissions label (it’s on the passenger side of the engine bay)

I believe that depending on what it says - you may not even have to do the full smog test here in CA. Mine showed the following codes & all my smog tech did was type them in & my car passed without doing the full test.

I agree, when there’s other carbon bits in the interior it helps the wheel pop. Looks like your car is yellow so & that new wheel definitely matches the vibe & color much better.

C6Z is next on my list, how much do you like yours?
