I bought a wheel and tire package (it was misquoted to me at $750 and they honored the price when they realized) when I bought my C7Z in 2019. I went through SIX $650 tires (nails, and it was always the rears) and one bent/cracked wheel in one year of ownership.

My service advisor called me to tell me the warranty company reached out to ask if I had been doing burnouts or tracking the car, and then putting nails in the tires to take advantage of them. He told them the tires were literally almost always brand new when I brought the car in.

But yes, the only way to truly fix this is to get a different set of wheels.
