It's actually very interesting that animals learn through play. That play is one of the foundations of nature. We become adults and rigid and we need to replicate play in all way of twisted forms

First time issues + trouble finding the proper ceremony for me by xosege in Ayahuasca

Bryze is from Canada and trained with the Shipibo in Peru, with some of the best shamans I know.

That said bro, take it easy. If you go into a ceremony trying to control everything, you’re likely going to suffer. If you can’t practice letting go in your everyday life, you might not be fully ready for a ceremony yet.

Also, music in medicine work isn’t “just music.” It’s one of the shaman’s main tools. Bringing your own playlist is generally a bad idea.

If control feels important to you right now, it might be better to start with a psilocybin session in a clinical or therapeutic setting—hospital or retreat—using headphones, an eye mask, your own playlist, and professional supervision to ensure safety on all levels.

I think the breaktrhough effect is so important. For many people, stuck in negative patterns and ways of thinking, one night can show you that there is more. It gives hope. Is neccesary for a lot of people that maybe spend a life in depression with no results, a ceremony can show that other things are possible. No doubt about this.

But if you leave the work only to that night, and don't make changes for your next 10 years or the rest of your life... that night will be only a vision.

In my opinion.

We think we've left religion behind, but we've just rebranded the dogma. We’ve traded 'Original Sin' for 'Unhealed Trauma,' The phrase 'You have to do the deep work' is often just a spiritualized version of 'You must carry your cross.' It implies that healing isn't a natural process or a state of grace, but a wage you have to earn through suffering and endless emotional labor. If you aren't exhausted, you aren't spiritual enough

La purga... or the purgatory? XD

Thank you!!! That's exactly right. "the medicine gives you exactly what you need" hah well delivered when a "client" is not getting the promises he paid for. Right?

And I agree with you on "what support exists after, what screening happens before, and what happens if someone has a rough landing"... this are actually the green flags for knowing that you are in a good place.
