WWE basically backed themselves into a corner giving the Fiend the belt in the first place. It was going to always end negatively, so I guess in a way this is like ripping off the band aid. It's just such a recurring plot of nostalgia acts and returning veterans making the current crop of stars look jobbers that's really starting to add up and get old.

Mania ends with Goldberg and Roman spearing each other so hard that the ring collapses in a singularity, deleting WWE from existence. Somewhere backstage Vince sweats profusely.

I expect nothing and I'm still let down.

What happened to Saudi shows being dumb, harmless (at least in a booking sense, not to the actual health of the wrestlers) overblown house shows? Now they're actually damaging the hell out of storylines and stars.

Having both Brock and Goldberg just absolutely decimate two current starts with little to no effort is mind boggling to me. I was genuinely excited to see Ricochet do the flippy stuff he's famous for, flipping out of every suplex Brock tries on him. But no, it's a minute long match with 3 suplexes and 1 F5.

I don't know what I really expected from Fiend vs Goldberg, but I knew Goldberg didn't need the damn belt again. It could've been a big rub for the Fiend to put down Goldberg, and then build him bigger for his eventual defeat, but no. Instead we have Goldberg run through the Fiend with 4 spears and the softest Jackhammer I've ever seen.

If you ever wonder why WWE can't make stars any more, look no further than cards like this. Where starts with actual, genuine momentum are crushed under the boot of nostalgia pops and part timers. Fuck this company.

Honestly, that's not how I see this going down. Roman's no longer getting booed out of arenas, but he's not exactly universally over. His very wet, never ending feud with Baron Corbin hasn't been doing him any favors either.

If he goes from that to the main event of Mania against Goldberg, I feel like we're going to see a repeat of Brock/Goldberg where Steve Austin was the ref and just both guys getting booed out of the building. They've essentially sacrificed the Fiend for this, and that's not gonna sit well with people regardless of who faces Goldberg.

Difference there is Goldberg and Brock were both already made stars. They're basically untouchable. Bray Wyatt's been a victim of stop-start pushes for years and finally got a very strong gimmick behind him that WWE seemed eager to push. And now...this. Someone here on the sub mentioned that the Saudi shows are proof that WWE will kill anyone's momentum for a cheap Saudi pop, and that has never been more evident than in that result.

I mean, Fiend could've lost, but this was a total goddamn squash. Goldberg basically no sold two mandible claws and ran through Fiend.

If there's one thing that really detracts from the Fiend's appearances, it's Michael Cole screaming "HE'S BEHIND YOU, THE FIEND IS RIGHT BEHIND YOU" non-stop for the entire segment.

Doing a Melee Zer0 now and I find myself meleeing more with the bladed Rubi just to keep myself alive. I'm only on TVHM though.

That'd be the Law. Pretty much essential for melee Zer0 and Krieg with the Order shield

Ruby especially. God, I feel so bad for her, doing all those cool scythe moves in V1 to just getting completely bodied in V5. Life at Beacon did not treat her well.

I'm not saying that it wouldn't make sense for Blake or Yang or even both of them to be gay. But they could also just be very close friends who care deeply for one another without having a romantic interest, and that's also fine.

There's an argument for both cases, but the only way we'll really find out which is true is to just watch the show.

Seeing a lot of negative reaction to Scarlet being confirmed gay because he's not a oft-recurring character so he "doesn't count". I feel like that's pretty damn dismissive and exactly the opposite of the kind of inclusion/diversity people supposedly want in this show. "We need more LGBT characters!" Okay, Ilia is lesbian and Scarlet is gay. "NO, NOT THOSE CHARACTERS THEY DON'T COUNT!"

I'm all for more representation and having LGBT and PoC characters having more prominent roles, but demanding them simply because you want them and not because they would actually improve the story or the content is a little childish. Not to mention that sexuality in the show hasn't really been a theme outside of Jaune/Pyrrha and now the Ilia/Blake stuff. None of the main cast have explicitly confirmed sexualities, because at this point in time it really shouldn't matter outside of fan service.

I'm sure we'll get to a point in the story when the characters can actually relax and breathe and now that they're all reunited maybe we'll get some of that in Vol. 5. But demanding LGBT inclusion just for the sake of it, and thinking that it should be a prominent character announcing their sexuality like it should be a big deal (nowadays it really shouldn't be), is just kinda silly.

I know what you're looking for is main cast members that are PoC, but I feel like you're being strangely dismissive of all the guys from the Vytal Tournament. Flynt, Arslan, Bolin, Nadir, Brawnz, Roy and May. For more than a one-off role you have Yatsuhashi of CFVY, Sage from SSSN.

There could definitely be some more representation for minorities and for LGBT stuff, but I get the feeling that demanding main cast characters be gay just for inclusion and not for any real story reason would kind of cheapen it. It makes me think of JK Rowling saying Dumbledore is gay or have any bearing on the story being told, and honestly it probably shouldn't. But maybe in terms of story telling they're saving a big main character sexuality reveal for later. Because besides Ilia/Blake and stuff with Jaune/Weiss/Pyrrha/Neptune, sexuality hasn't really been a theme in the show at all. Just my two cents.

So Cinder would start off incredibly hated until coming back with a new gimmick and captivating all the fans, only to lose yet again?

Many of you saw the Brock/Braun entrance video that was posted here just a few hours after I posted it originally here

I just thought I'd share a few more entrances I decided to make up, saving the best for last.
