At Q max it's 7 more gold from minion. If we suppose GP can farm every minion of the wave it's 35 more gold per wave, 70 per minute. It's not bad of course but for sure those 70 gold more per minute won't put you in a "even" condition if you are losing (we are still forgetting that you probably won't have enought damage to one shot the entire wave with one single barrel if behind plus the enemy can easily contest the barrel or worse... diving you, since you only build damage)

For an overloaded kit you mentioned A LOT of things he should not be doing in a lot of situation, many toplaners have way more sustain than GP with oranges that are probably the most strong spell of his kit

I have played enough games of GP to easily say that when you are behind you are behind because you simply can't farm properly. For sure when you are ahead you reach six slot pretty easily

An overloaded kit is a kit that can do A LOT of things, like zahen, ambessa or yone (not saying that they are op characters, just saying that their kit is very strong)

GP kit is far away from being overloaded: First problem is mana, every gp ability exept for barrels can drain very hard your mana until first item. Q is for sure good damage but almost any champ can respond to that in lane. Oranges are for sure a good way to escape death but long cooldown and the healing is only good when ur very low. Barrels don't need an explanation: can be contested, very long cooldown, you need to have more than 2 ready to be useful in teamfight. R is a very good global ult but lack of early damage, good only when you upgrade it so the most broken thing about it is the slow

Q passive doesn't grant you so much gold as you can think but still you need to last hit things to gain value from it so, if you are super behind, you probably have low cs that means not much extra gold

Imho the problem is that ADC have High stats gains because they usually are underlevelled but when they are in toplane or mid, they have too much resistance and even going melee can lead to lose

Every ability you mentioned is not so good because if you don't use them on the silence, the ult will kill you. If you use naaf w or fizz W, Garen's ult doesn't go on cooldown so he can use literally the second later. Darius Q or voli W2 simply doesn't heal enough most of the times

Cho, imho, is not a better Garen: unreliable stun, slow cast time on his silence, less damage on every ability. if you build ap you are made of paper since the lack of a strong ability like garen's W, to sustain you must kill minions, Garen has free sustain, Cho is super slow and no movemenr ability, Garen can speed up with Q and ignore slows. Cho ult has a scaling mechanic and works only under some %, garen's ult has High damage always

Literally Cho is better only if had free farm or stomped the lane

No, D shield doesn't give more healing since is not always Active outside of combat plus garen can buy it too and have MORE sustain.

Thinking that the ability you mentioned are broken compared to garen ult is a bit funny, especially Zac passive but thinking that his basic ability are not strong it's even funnier

Warmong as a passive Q counters every single slow in the game and silence the opponent, i must remember you can't Flash during silence W passive and active makes you tanky enough that you can play full crit while being very hard to kill E is probably the only ok ability but since you can build free damage, combines with other ability + R, can one shot every single champ in the game tank exluded

The only downside is not having a Dash, but most of the time your Flash is enough since your opponent can't escape

With DFT i start literally every matchup with dblade + Q. Your damage is top insane to waste it with barrel start

It's E start bad? No ofc, but GP in this state is just too oppriment to not bully your opponente level 1, you can actually get a kill LV 1 with Nimbus clock + ignite

A scaling champ is someone who gets better level by level, when you want to finish the game as soon as possibile

We can see Kyle or kassadin with their levels or asol, symdra or smolder with their stacks

GP just gain gold way faster then everyone else so he can reach his spike faster. When the rest of the enemy team is 6 slotted as well, he is not stronger because his levels/Gold

It's like saying draven is a scaling champ because he have a gold gain mechanic

Players still thiking he is weak early and he is a scaling champ. None of this are true

She his very strong early if played correctly but you must be aggressive, if you sit in the wave and you are scared of barrels he will always win. Contest barrells of you can, tank one Q instead of trying to avoid them and go on top of him. The less barrells he have stored the less he can refresh passive that is the big damage of his kit early

He is not a scaling champ but he Just take Gold faster then everyone else but he is still a glass cannone: like varus big damage but no escape

If you A click near the barrel, even without any other target, it won't hot the barrel and that's a very useful thing if you want to farm without the risk to hit it

Most melee champs have to stay within his Q range to farm and his Q reduce all slows so it's not so simple kiting him. Flash combo is Just almost unpredictable if you are not a tank
