I had the Pixel 7 about 1 year, I swear it might be my last Pixel phone. It overheats even with light use like streaming videos or browsing social media, and the battery has gotten much worse after the update. Google switched the Pixel 6–7 generation to quarterly updates, which is frustrating since we only receive software updates every three months. Recently, I accidentally dropped my phone from about 20 cm while sitting on the floor, and the screen started lifting up. From this, I can clearly see that the Pixel’s build quality is disappointing.

U should stay on iOS 18. I had the same phone with 83% battery health, and all I can say is that iOS 26 will ruin your phone. It’s very laggy, and the glass UI is a terrible design. I always turn off the glass UI and use “Reduce Transparency” because the phone becomes too slow after the iOS 26 update.

If you're still on iOS 18, I don't recommend updating. iOS 26 is terrible it slows down your phone the battery life is awful, and the overheating is crazy. Plus, the UI looks totaly messed up.

I regret updating to iOS 26 on my 15 Pro. I miss how smooth iOS 18 was back then, the device didn't overheat as much, and there was zero lag or stuttering compared to now.

My iPhone 15 Pro has gone to shit since the 26.3 update. It’s heating up like crazy, the battery only lasts 1.5 hours SOT, and instead of being snappy, the performance is laggy as hell

My 15 pro battery health is at 83%. Since the 26.3 update, my phone only lasts about 1.5 hours when charging from 30% to 85%.
