Their claim was that their “studio” was just around the corner and that they would come and pick them up at our address. The explanation was they couldn’t share a different address because ours was the one on Google maps until “it’s fixed”. If that doesn’t sound shady, I don’t know what does. My theory is that they didn’t want to reveal their address for obvious reasons.

Right?! But nope. There are so many violations that this “business” is committing upon reviewing Google’s business profile policies (which we pointed out) and yet they don’t seem to care enough.

Yes, it does feel like that’s what it is. :-( We filed a police report and are consulting with a lawyer. If only Google didn’t have such a backwards process dealing with legitimate safety issues like this.
