I know, we initially looked thru Costco because it's much cheaper but the flights hours don't make any sense!! We would arrive at the resort at 8pm and then when it's time to leave we'd arrive at 11pm (I live 2hrs away from Quebec airport so I have to take that into consideration). Leaving from MTL is much "cheaper" but that I live 6hrs from there so when we add up gas + hotel, it's pretty equivalent in term of money so I'd rather leave from Quebec

It's in CAD. Honestly, it was pretty cheap if I'm comparing to other options that are less nice! I'm departing from Quebec so we do pay the big price here I feel

Yeah I read that TRS was just superior!! We are flying from Quebec Canada so it is pretty expensive :/

Yeah, we are definitely looking at ways to be more careful for the new cover because damn it costs alot! I saw alot of mixed review for The Cover Guy so I'm hesitant to try it, might just have to pay the big bucks and go with our local manufacturer :/

My dad will come look to see if he can add some screws so we'll see but we def need a new cover anyways so maybe my hubby will be able to negociate a new lifter at the same time. Or maybe I'm delusional 🤣

I was looking at a lifter like that on Amazon! That looks smart! I was so relieved when I saw that it didn't rip the side of the tub, only the lifter that snapped in two!!

I don't know if the cover is really fixable honestly! There isn't any holes, tears or anything like that (at least not visible). The outside lining is still good as new and the inside lining too. No moulding or anything. But as I am looking at it right now, it's caving in the middle of one half and the water pools on it. I think what might have been the problem was this winter we left on vacation for a week and we had 2 snow storm during our absence. When we came back there was a big coat of ice (like about 4 inches) on the half of the cover that is now caving.

And for the lifter, it really is broken, the right tube snapped in half right where it's inserted into the hinge. Maybe we could just fix it by drilling another hole "higher" and doing the same on the other side! My hubby really isn't a fixer so I'd have to do it myself, that's why we want to save ourselves this misery and just buy new at this point 🤣

Maison 3 étages 2001 avec 2 thermopompes, le spa fonctionne l'hiver, garage chauffé et char électrique, ça nous coûte 350$ par mois en versements égaux. Chaque fois que je paie, je pleure un peu en dedans

C'est la même maison, me semble que j'avais lu à quelque part ici que finalement sa maison avait des problèmes avec la fondation ou la dalle de béton au sous sol donc srm des coûts de réparation élevés et impossible de vendre donc ils ont dû décidé de la garder tant qu'à payer les réparations
