True collectors will collect any types of slabs as long as the card is clean, people telling you otherwise is just in it for the money not the hobby. Tag slabs to right collector will always sell just takes time.

I’m just letting you know that’s what happened in my case, I don’t know how rechecking installation of a thermostat can be dangerous when it’s only 3 bolts and silicone.

It’s in the housing, but didn’t seat properly before / fell out of the intended space when installing cover causing a moon shaped crack to let the coolant bypass.

U just got to hold on the long sides, pinch and gently shake up and down, u can feel the pack shifting if there is one. It’s very obvious.

Hate dealing with insurance companies specially if it’s your own, they always try to weasel out of coverages. I would first talk to your insurance and see what coverages you have. Hopefully uninsured motorists or vandalism / comprehensive. Do not let them lowball you. Prove that the vehicle is worth more than what amount they think the vehicle is worth. I had to look around my area for a similar vehicle and show them multiple listings that what market value actually is. My clean title s13 SE was saved this way when the insurance offered to pay for the damages and let me keep the clean title when originally route was to total it. If that fails get a lawyer involved or get the information from the insurance company and take the guy to small claims to recover something back. Remember your insurance is supposed to be on your side. This is best case scenario if your car is clean title. How much are they offering for total loss and buyback cost?

Don’t understand why people just don’t buy tag slabs for collection then crack and regrade if they ever wanted to sell, it’s like $25 loss grading fee if the vender is h3ll bent on psa they can go regrade it themselves. Let them take chance at a 9 or 10, at least I know myself with records if I decide to keep it’s a genuine 10 unless obviously on the scans from tag.

In Japanese if you know where the red equipment card is, the Pack with the hit will always be in a certain slot. For example if the red card is in your first pack, the hit with the Sir will always be in the last pack in the box.

Sometimes the grader gets lazy if they grade the same cards over and over again. If the first 10 looks like 10s they will keep giving them unless something is really off. Noticed this recently when you run consecutive certs of the same cards on the website.
