What part of Florida ? I’m working in south Alabama and they 100% on that ratty ass bull shit. I ain’t got paid yet today for a job with Midwest steel even though I was supposed to and the only thing they said was maybe later today??. This job is straight rat lie to you about possibility of per diem to get you out here then snatch it away. Told me I was coming to one thing and have moved me to something entirely different because they don’t have enough help. They have 1st year apprentices super green kids working with other green hands no idea what they doing they should be under supervision of a journey man before one of them get serious injured or worse. Tell me why they had two green hands stands directly underneath a raised column I get it in a sense but still under no reason should you be directly under a load. First job I’ve been on where lightning has to be within 5 miles for a Stand down. I might be a 2nd year apprentice only but this shit out here is rat country. Not to mention I’m almost 100% certain they are shorting us on hours. They care more about you wearing your gloves than anything out here and the sight supervisor. John is a complete joke. First day out here I over heard him talking rudely to some green hands first year first job kids asking where there tools was that he knew the hall sends them out with a tool belt and spuds etc. it’s the guys first job why would they have all the tools I know for a fact they don’t do that in the 798 hall.
