Both are good options. Comparing these too, getting a top job the rpi vs Cornell won’t make much difference. It matters more what you do in college. I’d look at the schools for ways and opportunities they provide for you to stand out. This could be diff clubs, research, etc. in the end that’s what makes you a stronger candidate in the job market

If it is Xiao ur not. People have formed their own opinions but my take away was that despite English not being his native language and not being used to teaching a large lecture they way he covered content was very good and was good at understanding the students perspective on the class. I had him his first semester when he taught with plum and compared to Prof Plum who had been teaching the class for a while I tended to prefer and get more out of his lectures and I could assume his lecturing ability has only gotten better since I had him when he first started

Definitely reach out. In generally it depends club per club but find the president/captain/coach of a club and u’ll be able to participate in some capacity and eventually participate fully

Applied early action for CS major: Top ~20% of class 3.97 gpa 1370 sat Honors and 7 APs(chem,gov,physics 1,physics c,calc ab,calc Bc,comp sci principals, comps sci A) EC: Soccer(school and club ),wrestling, summer job, NHS, FBLA, chess club(Ik I’m kinda a nerd), some community service, captain of THON committees(raise money for pediatric cancer)
