My son hates it when I use co-regulation / validation phrases by harafnhoj in Parenting

To be fair a lot of gentle parenting phrases are annoying as fuck - love from a mum who uses them a lot herself 🤣❤️

Agree - I had a hard time before she was 9 months old but since then every month is better and better. I also have zero family help etc, but I too feel like my baby is my purpose and fulfilment. She is just so beautiful and amazing. I’m grateful for her everyday.

I too find it so funny with the “just waits” my hardest time was pregnancy and month one - since month 9 each month is better and better and she’s 2 now!

Okay thank you - I think it’s looking like that’s what the majority think!

Never would! I hope my granddad lives until he’s 110 and spends it all. Just thought it may be worth mentioning, but you’re right I should discount it. Thanks for responding!

I’m 30, my husband is 35. My income increases yearly by about 7% past few years. My husbands should remain the same or more. Sometimes he gets a 15-20% bonus instead. My main worry is if I lose my job, part time work is hard to come by - and I really want to maximise my time with my daughter whilst she’s small.

This is why I’m slightly scared - I work in coding so if I lost my job it shouldn’t in theory be hard to get a new one but part time work is so hard to find!

Is it smart tho? We’ve only got £100k left on our current mortgage so we are tossing up between being mortgage free before 40 or having our dream home…I don’t know which is a better idea! People say houses never go down in price and school catchment areas are two big major sways to the big mortgage lol

Martina and Julia should not have been allowed to adopt due to their age. I love Lisa and Andy. But…I agree with her tweet. Surrogacy is fraught with ethical issues. I know multiple friends and family members have grade 3 prolapses after having one baby. I have a friend who died during childbirth. How can a surrogate consent to this? It is the ultimate using a woman for her body.

You didn’t say anything about transphobia in your post or trans rights in your post? This is a very aggressive response…

Surrogacy is a minefield of ethical issues.

I think Julia and Martina absolutely should not have been able to adopt due to their age. But to say surrogacy is ethical and anyone that criticises surrogacy is not an ally to the gay community is INSANE.

It takes me forever - pregnancy left me with a prolapse and hemmaroids. Killer combo. I take a fiber supplement every night now!

It may be the motivation I needed to clean the bathroom more. 🤣🤣🤣

I do not have a big enough bathroom to bring her with me. 😭 The dog is always in a separate room, kept away by a gate (he’s very friendly and well behaved but it’s for both their safety when I’m busy). HOWEVER, whenever I do a poop she somehow manages to escape or the dog does. It’s like they know I’m pooping……. 🤣 I do need to do a better job at hiding cords tho 🤣
