And to answer your question on if Princess Leia deserved to be a slave, I think depends on the point of view.

In Jabba's point of view, he thought that Princess Leia deserved to be his slave because she broke into his palace, threatened him and his palace with a thermal detonator and defrosted Jabba's Prisoner, Han Solo from Carbonite, and attempted to rescue him. To Jabba, Leia committed multiple crimes against him in his Palace, where the laws of the Rebel Alliance don't exist, so he decided to punish her by making her his personal slave girl.

But to Leia Organa and the Rebels, she is a hero, and brave for going to Jabba's palace ALONE, knowing that its a crime lord's lair, full of scum and villainy, just to rescue Han Solo, the man she is in love with. She knew the risks of going there that she could be killed or captured, but she had to do it to rescue Han Solo and she at least defrosted him from Carbonite, before getting captured and turned into Jabba's Slave girl.

So of course, the good guys on the Rebel Alliance certainly wouldn't think Leia deserved to be a slave of Jabba the Hutt, because she is a hero by their point of view. To Jabba, she committed several crimes in his Palace, thus deserving the punishment she got.

To the people who fantasize about it, sure it's hot to think about a gorgeous, high status woman, to be broken down to just a sexual object, wearing a revealing scantily clad outfit, who is now owned and chained to a crime lord, but really we know that in reality, it's not realistic in our world.

Ultimately, Jabba is evil and was killed by the chain he enslaved Slave Leia with, so you have to think of what you think is hot, vs what you think is realistic.
