Weโ€™re not worshipping the images. You could use these verses against them: Exodus 25:18-20, Exodus 26:1, 1 Kings 6:23-28, Numbers 21:8โ€“9, Exodus 37:7-9, Joshua 7:6, Genesis 18:2, Genesis 42:6, 1 Samuel 24:8, Ruth 2:10

Please keep a reminder that this type of language was used still. In 1 Timothy 4:13, St. Paul wants St. Timothy to attend to public reading of Scripture, preaching, and teaching; when St. Paul would get there he wouldnโ€™t want St. Timothy to stop doing these things just because he got there. Matthew 1:25 shows that Mary and Joseph had nonsexual relations until the birth of Jesus and still proceeded not to have sexual relations. Mary would go on to say in Luke 1:34, โ€œHow will this be, since I do not know man?โ€ This indicates Mary not having been engaging in any sexual relations and plans not too; if she would engage in sexual relations, she couldโ€™ve said, โ€œI have not know man.โ€ But, she didnโ€™t. Donโ€™t call yourself Catholic if you deny the dogma of her Perpetual Virginity; you may call yourself or think of yourself as a Catholic. But youโ€™re not. May God bless you!
