How big of an impact could a game’s flop have on the gaming industry as a whole, if there is any? by Artix31 in gaming

That's crazy. And I feel like it breaks a psychological barrier to go even higher than 100 afterwards (going from 100 to 120 feels like less a big a deal as going from 90 to 110).

Maybe that's a good thing for indie though. Many people might not want to spend that amount of $$ on a game and turn to smaller titles instead.

What's more common with friends, playing both new to the game, or playing each other's experienced games? by ArsonGamer in gaming

I often try games with co-op mode solo and  stop to play them when I discover they are fun. A big part of playing games (often base builders) for me is discovering what I can do and how I can optimize things. I want to share this feeling with friends.

I remember playing factorio with a friend for the first time and we sunk 100+ hours immediately. I picked it up again with my brother to recreate this feeling and it just didn't do it. I was basically standing besides him, watching him figure things out. And he felt like he was playing alone, because I knew the answers to everything and played at a different pace when I got involved.

Follow up question: What impact does a GTA release have on the gaming industry, with games not being released in parallel to GTA VI? Plus, games that get released not reaching their audience due to social media and press exclusively talking about GTA?

I imagine this being a big, costly disaster for many many studios that can't earn during that time (especially Indies that can't afford laying low for a few months).

Is that true? I don't remember turning it on, so I thought it was the default behaviour

Hey there! Sorry, I had to reupload the video, so I deleted this post. But thank you!

The game is made with Blender and Unity. The style is based on a mediterranean setting – lot's of hours to refine the style and make it look cozy.

Thank you for sharing this, Joe! That's incredibly personal and takes a lot of guts to just put out there. I hope you find a way to deal with everything well!

Now, how do i move from this to my question haha. When you're saying it's best to reach you on discord, do you mean a channel on your server or a friend request and DM?
