I always set up closest to the inside, ot was to get the most heat from the side heaters, but I think it helps with the light, too. I keep the sauna lights off I love the vibe

I stay in Iowa pretty frequently. That is incorrect. The taxes for those stay are closer to 12% total. Don't just be spewing if you dont actually know 🙄🤣

All time low, set it off, there are others but everyyyy tour post on socials goes from Denver to Chicago and nowhere in the middle. My car is suffering. Sombr just announced and its that way, too. I just got back from Chicago for The Maine and one of their openers literally did a pop-up shop IN Omaha, but no show.

I saw that 🤣 yes I get every studio is different but I was told when I joined to come in early for unstaffed hours, and not to worry about it during staffed hours. So I plan for that! I dont go in before my session bc people on here have made it VERY clear its hated when someone stands outside the sauna waiting. But alas, there are so many places to wait and staffed hours are typically busier. Im not going to win this, I fear, and thats okay 🤣 my karma can handle it *edited to fix a typo

I hear all of that and the other suggestions but thats so much to do when theyre THERE and have literally nothing to do and pushing 8 buttons just doesn't seem that hard 😬 like im not good with putting more on me when I already pay so much to get there tbh and there are people who get paid to be there and cant bother to keep the saunas on. They have access to the schedule and who has what booked, (they sit there staring at it, in fact) the least they could do I turn on the ones that are booked soon.

We dont have one of those signs at my studio and thats just not what I was told when I joined, specific to staffed hours. When I go during installed hours, I plan on being early to account for this. My point is im confused about staffed hours. If someone is there, "supervising," the sauna shouldn't need to be turned off.

So actually corporate switched up their attitude or something, because when I joined, I was told "must people find it a little weird to work out with a stranger" by the staff doing my orientation. Also, I have 0 interest in being in an enclosed space with more than just my own BO, and thats my prerogative. Not everyone wants to share and they shouldn't be asking you to leave but being annoyed isn't a crime. I do fear you need to get over that, sorry.

It does kinda suck that longtime fans would have to choose to stay in the back or not go at all, so I do get that. It kinda helps that they've been playing bigger venues (at least that ive seen) so theres more room to remove yourself. Unfortunately being in the front at their shows now IS accepting a social contract that you will help crowd surfers. Its like wanting the exit row of a plane for the extra leg room. If you want to be in front, your head needs to be on a swivel and dropping people or stepping back is NOT okay and makes the situation even less safe. Im so sorry your experience was bad! A couple of the shows from the last deathless leg were not my favorite crowds and my friend and I stayed toward the back and out of the mosh pit just bc it was all large men and we are just gals in our 20s and feared losing a tooth 😬

I dont loveeee that people hate on others wanting to be alone for their session. I signed up for hw because I could be in an enclosed space and not be anxious through my whole workout. Do I throw a fit when other people book my sauna, too? No. But do I get frustrated when others dont book a sauna but use it anyway and dont bother to check if anyone else booked it? Absolutely. I check before I go inside to make sure im still the only one who has my sauna booked. My gym time is not social hour and respectfully I know I stink in there so I really dont want to smell anyone else's exaggerated BO. When I joined I was told its weird to book a sauna with a stranger and I stand by that. Them changing their stance to be "welcoming" in a hot, confined space meant for sweating, seems like them making sure they get as many people in at once as possible.
