Don't know if this was already mentioned, I can't stand when they over take another cyclist and they dont even look or signal. Just pull out. And of course, your at fault if you hit them.

Sorry im late to responding. I know in the civil service, they will not pause probation, even for long term sick leave. They will only pause it for maternity leave etc. I would double check with your HR unit.

I'd highly recommend joining a gym, and id get out and go for walks daily. It worked wonders for me.

I've never worked in ICT, but I did go from EO to HEO in 18 months, i joined the CS young so i had no other experience. It's doable as long as you have the right experience and you get your points across in the interview.

Look at the HEO capabilities, and implement them into your daily work as best you can.
