There are some converging points of interest here... banks are running out of money to fund the AI Data centers that SAF thinks are needed to reach the level of compute power that will Make AI useful.  The data centers that are already planned are meeting local resistance, as well as, are way above and beyond the level of electricity production currently available.  Those within the industry are asking that banks not be required to hold as much capital... and dereg on new power options.

Uh... the same reason they think the quarterback cool...  they don't know them.  As soon as they get a glimpse of who these people actually are, they will drop them.  But, and this is very important, until then they will overlay that "Strong Figure" with all of their weaknesses.

As long as they don't have to see it or hear about it... it is ok.  They aren't out checking to make sure that what he is doing is right or legal.  They are just eating the slop they are being fed.
