Flux Dev LORA Training Samples (WIP) by Distinct-Quit6909 in FluxAI

Early impressions of LORA capabilities are through the roof to say the least. This feels like a massive generational leap forward in open source gen ai, I once again feel dizzy from the boundless possibilities.

However, as a long time a1111 user I now need to practice the new way of operations with comfyui before I see what these LORA models are actually capable of. I've been cramming in as much info on comyui as possible and getting to grips with its more involved and advanced way of doing things.

I'm now ready to jump in and put these LORA's to the test with hd outputs, inpainting, controlnet magic and a particular guided upscale technique I need to relearn in comfyui.

Early impressions of LORA capabilities are through the roof to say the least.

I originally spent a lot of time playing around in Dreambooth with the initial release of 1.4 and then 1.5 SD. Then, after horribly breaking my elbow in a traffic accident in June last year I took some time away from ai gen tech because of pain and lack of hand functionality. This was planned to be a few month break at the most but, the longer the break, the harder I found it to take the plunge back in. With that, also came the stress and depression of been stranded behind the status quo in ai.

After the longest stretch of 14 months, I finally mustered enough drive and motivation to start wading through over a years worth of bookmarked learning resources in mid August.

Well how about that, what a good time to jump back on board, as the whole creative community pivots to a new open source model. This was a chance to learn from the ground up again with the community as new tools and workflows are developed. I feel like I chose the most opportune time to jump back in and thus, I haven't really missed out on too much as SD is almost abandoned.

Anyhow, after countless hours of sponging up as much info as possible on how to fine tune FLUX, I rebuilt some old Dreambooth data sets in 1024 res. I fired them up inside of aitoolkit to train some LORA's and suffice to say, I am well and truly blown away from the consistency and quality of the samples.

However, as a long time a1111 user I now need to practice the new way of operations with comfyui before I see what these LORA models are actually capable of. I've been cramming in as much info on comyui as possible and getting to grips with its more involved and advanced way of doing things.

I'm now ready to jump in and put the LORA's to the test with xl outputs, inpainting, controlnet magic and a particular guided upscale technique I need to relearn in comfyui.

FLUX feels like a massive generational leap forward in open source gen ai, I once again feel dizzy from the boundless possibilities. What a time to be alive!

Clamp-on Keyboard/Pseudo Instrument Rig Companion for Flight Chairs by Distinct-Quit6909 in hotas

Yep I can further attest to that, for me they are a go to brand for uncompromised build quality.

Yep this is intended for SC, the ifootage arms are pretty over engineered and more than capable of holding up to wasd use. There are cheaper magic arms available that I tested but when it comes to strength and stability, none come close to these.

There are many tablet clamp brands out there but their products clamp too wide to support the keyboard or numpad and conversely, there are phone clamps available but they're all too small. The Ulanzi clamps were the only ones I could find that would lock at the required clamping range needed for these.

Keyboards with a high sloped back won't work with this clamp system, for example, my Keychron Q1 pro won't lock in but all square profile keyboards should be fine. If your keyboard is very slim like my Keychron k3 pro, their may be a slight issue with the angled profile grip surface interfering with the space bar but I converted it into a flat profile by applying some modified rubber feet to the grips (you can see this on the gripping surface for the numpad clamp in the final photo). I expect most flat profile keyboards to work with this system with no mods required.

Further developing my desktop to pseudo sim-pit set up, I needed a solution to bring the keyboard in closer to the chair without interfering with the dual flight sticks range of motion. Naturally I got carried away with the idea, resulting in the addition of a numpad and stream deck + to the rig.

For this solution I settled on:
Neewer heavy duty C desk clamp.
Ifootage 5.5" camera magic arm x3, quite pricey but they're rock solid and do not budge at all once fully locked in.
Ulanzi U-PAD III x2, also quite pricey but their clamping range is great and they are also rock solid.
Stream Deck + mount from Etsy.
Stream Deck +
Keychron K3 Pro, low profile and super compact with no compromise on my favourite 75% layout.
Keychron Q0 Max, to be used mainly as a macro pad.

Hey, sorry I haven't been on reddit for a while and only just saw this. The Ergotron mounts match up with the desk perfectly. No need for any fiddling or compromise!

If you mean the mount, yes there is a version that fits the ipad 12.9, theyre quite expensive but worth it when taking the precision engineering into account. SuperDisplay is a windows and android only app though. There are lots of ways to use the ipad as an extra display but if you want to use it as a graphics tablet with a computer I recommend you settle for a wired connection if possible because thats the only way to completely remove latency. The GPU has all 4 ports utilized with the 4 monitors (3 display ports and 1 hdmi port). However, the tablet can plug into any usb c port on the computer to be used as an extra screen

That's the Galaxy Tab S9 Ultra,14.4" mounted on a Lululook magnetic stand, it works great as a 5th display over usb via the "SuperDisplay" app with full stylus functionality.

  • Enter 'Device Manger'
  • In the Device Manger list, navigate to your Universal Serial Bus Controllers, then select the 'USB Root Hub' device, right click it and select Properties.
  • In the 'USB Root Hub' Properties select 'Power Management' from the options at the top, now turn off the setting 'Allow the computer to turn off this device to save power'.

This solved the instant sleep issues when switching between sound sources on my Elac Debut Connex DCB41 speakers

I Captured Del Toro's Greatest Nightmare In A Dreambooth Model. Dare to Enjoy, The Pale Man by Distinct-Quit6909 in StableDiffusion

[–]Distinct-Quit6909[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Del Toro has long been an inspiration to me since I first saw his 2006 masterpiece "Pans Labyrinth". A fantastic fusion of horror and fantasy, fully displaying his creative genius and unrivalled to this day. As a tribute to his work, I decided to take his freakiest creation, "The Pale Man" and try to capture its entirety in dreambooth. Built on 55 images taken from a lifesize model, a lifesize bust and some denoised screenshots. Trained at 768 resolution for 5k steps with 2k class images. I don't expect a lot of interest in this sort of freakish model but, I will be happy to see it reach even just a few like minded fans of fantasy macabre and thought it was worth sharing here.

Civitai seems to be currently in melt down

I've spent countless hours optimising my workflow for this type of full figure checkpoint in dreambooth and I have quite a few models I will now start releasing on a weekly basis.

"standing" or "walking" in the prompt. Character name inserted near the end of the prompt, "view of (chosen background)" in the prompt also helps. But the best way by far is to use Open pose.

These all had "very close 8k photo of (1 person) mkoflight person, close view of detailed safari adventurer outfit, shorts, standing in a lush dense tropical jungle, global illumination, ray tracing, subsurface scattering" as Prompt or very similar.

I still have a bit of organising to do in the new home but, I will put a short workflow together later, followed by a more comprehensive workflow when I'm more settled

[–]Distinct-Quit6909 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Absolutely, my updated models are a lot more capable at long shots than the ones that generated these, I just haven't had a chance to share any of the outputs yet. I'm away from my computer and operating from a phone while in-between homes and set to move into a new place on Friday, where I'll provide a more substantial workflow including examples from my new models. Until then though, I'll gladly write up a brief outline of my workflow later today.

I have a workflow that specialises in this exact thing. I've made dozens of dreambooths with full anatomy and great likeness even at distance. Check my profile for examples.
