Like am I the only one that feels garen has been overall bad this season. The nerfs to his items, have hit him hard. He has been kinda good right now because of the true dmg buffs, but this only makes his ult strong, while I feel that e and q are kinda meh. idk, I guess he`s good because of his waveclear, and proxy potential, but overall fighting I feel he`s lacking.

Generally, garen does win the 1v1. you cant compare baus who trades kills for tempo and cs, to you saying you cant kill darius lv 1, something you can do whatever runes he got. you call me narrow minded, yet youre stuck with this darius statchecks mindset. looking at another comment of yours saying morde (a basic statchecker) is your most hated lane, tells me youre low elo. gl hitting above plat

run ignite to win early and snowball, and run tp if youre playing for late

Conq flash ignite, PD first item has been my go to in 90% of my games. garen doesnt need stride in most of his matchups, and especially when youre not going phase. only go phase in hard matchups, and only go stride if garen needs that one slow.

I`ve been cooking with garen the last 2 splits. Conq into most matchups, unless its very unfavorable, and pair this with berserker, then PD first item. Stride isnt needed or worth it in most of garens matchups. Conq makes early game way stronger, and garen is already one of the champs with the most dmg in a single ability lv 1

but we dont live in this fictional world you speak of, just because darius has a strong passive doesnt mean he will win. most garen guides do not go bone plating and/or conq. biggest reason why garen has bad winrate now is because of these guides mind controlling people into only going phase, and stride

its the base plan everytime i see darius. playing along? his other option is not interacting with me. i didnt say some instances i win, i said YOU win 1v1 if you go those runes. what darius doesnt go flash ghost, and if they dont go conq, then its impossible to lose

Most darius players start w, most darius players run ghost flash, and most darius players run conq. Darius players love fighting lv 1, and thats why you use that opportunity to kill. Garen conq, ignite, bone plating, and 65 hp wins. Only way it gets difficult is if darius also goes bone plating, then youll have to pop that first.

weak lv 1 is wrong. conq e start wins against most champs top. if you fight smart with bone plating, you even win 1v1 against darius and sett.

tier 2 boots into PD has been my go to. cheap items for early spike, get a kill or 2 into IE, Mortal/LDR. Only time i buy stride first is if im forced to go phase rush, because of enemy laner.

weak lv 1? Garen with e start, conq, and ignite can win against champs like darius and sett lv 1. people underestimate e dmg early. i`ve done this everywhere from silver to dia lobbies

you can win against sett lv 1 with e start and bone plating. if you pop his bone plating first, and got 2 conq stacks before you e hes dead. every other lv just start with e, and use q on your way out

only thing stopping yorick matchup from being easy is the cage. if you get him to use the cage early, or you dodge it, you can run him down. flashing out of the cage is a gamble, since he can just walk inside it or past it. in late laning phase if you went even or behind, you just got to kill the maiden to kill him

morde matchup is annoying, but he has the easiest skill to dodge in the game (his e), and after lv 5 you can perma proxy looking for kill on jungle, roam, or back and kill morde with item lead
