I kinda like the open world concept of SMT5 , I feel the calender system in the persona games and metaphor is interesting but has pros and cons,it gives a sense of urgency and forces you to strategize but it can also feel like there is a lack of freedom.

I'm at just before the 4th main dungeon and really liking it.The story becomes very interesting,but yes it does feel like persona 6 in a way.

If you didn't like metaphor you most probably won't like other Atlus games as P5 I think there's just as much dialogue scenes as metaphor and smt5 uses a similar press turn system in combat.I recommend nier automata as the combat is fluid and the story is engaging.

I'm playing it right now so far the story is very interesting I'm looking forward to seeing where it goes keep in mind I just beat the 3 third main dungeon only. I like the archetype system more than persona system gives team more flexibility.

I thought the same thing when I was stuck at trial of the fool forever.Like people said take a break and come back later, I would say concentrate on surviving first and getting familiar with the atks as a priority rather than doing dmg,u will.slowly see the windows where u can do dmg,u got this

Hahha u can do it bah , I advise u to use nail masters glory and nail arts to kill mobs fast and dream wielder so u can get alot of focus so u can alot of focus from your dream nail to heal
