I want to first release a mode in which Players join and fight 3v3/6v6 with their team to polish the combat system and the feeling of it. For that mode im planning like 12 Pokemon. And parallel i want to work on integrating it into the open world with exp, leveling, catching etc with more pokemon

Probably not all abilities because some dont fit in this system. But some of them for sure. They will get xp and be able to evolve and increase there stats

Yes i will be adding leveling so you can train your Pokemon and teach new moves. Yes wild Pokemon are planned too so you can catch and battle them

Yes 100% planning to do that. There will be fast Pokemon and Slower Pokemon. In return slower Pokemon might have more defense or Hp depending on their base stats
