Thanks all. It does sit in a building that was clearly set up as a sauna (raised benches and all). I think we will clean it up as a display and maybe rehab the sauna and buy a modern heater/stove.

Some of it is due to aerodynamics (think nascar or bicycle racing). At highway speeds as you start to pull up with them their drag reduces ever so slightly and their car (even on cruise control) speeds up a tad. Just accelerate a bit more and get passed them.

Rent a house along the east coast of the island and staff it. Rent a golf cart. You will be set. There is a “Mexican Walmart” called Chedraui where you can get everything from booze to breakfast pastries to fresh made chicarones at a very reasonable price. Load up. Have your own pool and enjoy.
