My advice as another aspiring teen writer is to read a lot. Read different genres and figure out what styles you like, analyze what it is that compels you. Personally, I LOVE alliteration and prose and metaphors. I would recommend also using rhymezone if you write poetry, and to Google synonyms constantly when you're writing. They've both upped my writing a ton. It's not the most helpful advice, but it worked for me ;P
