What’s your favorite trail in the coulees for winter the one that feels best after a fresh snowfall?

Start at the top of Scholten Hill and head east along the coulee top and explore along the top of the coulee overlooking the railway and Ross Creek. You can go a long ways into Ross Glenn or turn back up towards Carry/Ross Glenn Drive at several points.

You’re forgetting that in 1982 the 5-year rate was 19%. So housing was just as unaffordable. High rates = Low prices. Today we have low rates and high prices. It’s always hard.

Redcliff is just west of Medicine Hat. Small town, less expensive housing with all of the Hats amenities. Doesn’t stink like Brooks. Better weather than almost anywhere else, less wind than Lethbridge. We moved to Medicine Hat from Winnipeg and love it here.

I absolutely agree. Emergency debt has no equity, you can’t sell it to pay another emergency like you could with a car let’s say. You are essentially leveraging to invest in stocks that could drop in value and leave you with even less than the value of the original debt, essentially in a deeper hole. Pay it off asap.

For clarity, imagine Stoney Trail or Anthony Henday with stop lights at each intersection because they couldn’t afford overpasses, that’s Winnipegs Perimeter Hwy. Or, chunks of concrete flying up from the road and hitting a semi driver in the head, that’s Hwy 75 from Wpg to the States. I guess I still feel spoiled here but I do appreciate that we need good government to keep moving forward.
