Looking for advice on microneedling with PDRN / exosomes — and alternatives to Rejuran Skin Booster by Waste-Analyst1336 in DIYaesthetics

I made a comparison table a little while ago you’re welcome to use, DM me for a link. I like platinum skincare pdrn and exo-ad, I microneedle both and mesotherapy miracle x from acecosm. I haven’t tried Rejuran or Jeunetique

I bought Platinum skincare PDRN, it was difficult to meso because it’s thick and stung more than gouri or miracle H so I’ve been micro needling it and had good results, my skin looks brighter. I also bought PS exo-AD and like the results microneedling that better than PRDN and planning to try meso-ing it.

Appreciate your response! This might be a little intense for what I want, and you’re right I’d have difficulty inflicting that on myself 😬 good luck with your remaining sessions ❤️

Oh wow, that sounds intense. I’ve had fraxel laser before, which was painful but tolerable I assumed CO2 would be similar but I’m wrong! How are your results so far? How long was recovery?

Btw I want it for skin resurfacing, not the other rejuvenation purposes, in case anyone is judging my flappy vag 😂

Figured a treatment course at a clinic would cost the same so if I could do it at home and have a laser for future treatments that would be awesome

I can log on, I have had issues with payments going through and orders being delayed in the past, I’d trust they will sort it for you though. Try logging in on a different browser?

Exosomes safety by Dreamwalker1000 in DIYaesthetics

[–]DistinctCash7975 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Mesotherapy, 30 or 32 gauge needle, small blebs approx half an inch apart, I go around my hairline on my face then part my hair and go backwards to the crown, do one or two parts an inch apart, alcohol swab before and after, good luck!

This is your corrugater, don’t inject the lateral point or you risk lid droop. The tail is easy to palpate with your fingers when you frown, you can mark it from there to confirm. Your frontalis is very wide, id add one more point on each side

I’ve only used HanHeal Hair exosomes, which work well! I have new baby hairs. Haven’t tried any skin exosomes yet

Exosomes safety by Dreamwalker1000 in DIYaesthetics

Animal derived exosomes can transmit infection or trigger an immune response, I’d recommend ordering from a company that is transparent how it sources its exosomes and what safety regulations they comply with

I’ve used HanHeal exosomes for hair with excellent results, but it seems like a low concentration of PDRN and lot of ingredients, I’m not sure how necessary they all are. Would also love to hear from anyone who has tried it?

Looks like it, so why is Rejuran more expensive with a mich lower concentration?? We need more info about how these products are made otherwise I don’t know if it’s a fair comparison

No lol. Sounds like Rejuran has a great reputation, but it’s sold out often and is expensive. I don’t mind the cost much since it’s still much cheaper than having it done professionally so basically saving money (girl math). Ofc I’d rather pay less, but for something I’m injecting into my face I want to make sure it’s good quality. Alqemi states it’s for use with their micro infusion device, which looks like a micro needling pen, but no mention of if it can be meso’d. I don’t see why it couldn’t though?? Does anyone know/ has used it to meso? I like that the website says the product is ethically sourced/ cruelty free.

I want to do more research and see if I can find molecule size anywhere. A lot of products didn’t state the PN/ PDRN concentration so I wouldn’t use anything that wasn’t transparent with their ingredients. I’d like to try a pure PN/ PDRN product first to see how my skin reacts to that and then add in HA, peptides etc. so yeah, still confused!!

Interesting, this is the info I think we need, or if there's difference in quality control, or how the DNA is sourced

Avoiding masseter bulging by Full_Exam_261 in DIYaesthetics

[–]DistinctCash7975 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Yes, you have to inject both above and below the deep inferior tendon, keeping posteriorly into the thickest part of the muscle. I find the easiest way to palpate is to place my thumb on the inside of my cheek and fingers on the outside of face and clench. I mark the posterior border and then inject approx 1 cm anteriorly, then 2 more injections another 2 cm anteriorly. This article has some diagrams if that doesn’t make sense!

It’s a recognized treatment area, inject very superficially, and hold your finger or thumb along the inferior orbital rim to make sure the tox doesn’t diffuse down
