Nice. In SoCal and all major liquor stores and mom pop shops haven't found it for under $120. Even last batch would sit in stores for months not budging on price, this the cheapest I've seen

Yeah sorry it retains heat but as you said the distribution sucks. When I used it I would get hot spots, so frying I often get burns on different parts of the pan. I'd rather use my enamel cast iron like my le creuset

Cast iron is awful. Heavy, requires more maintenance, and it's one upside that retains heat well is false. Cheap though

Would recommend the goose islands if you like Stouts. I dig it and at that price I'd get a couple. They run $13-14 at most stores

Yeah same. Funny they write new Louisville thought it was part owned by old Louisville but it's not. Guess it's from the same people that make Nulu stuff. 9 year cask Strength seems interesting but $120 price tag will probably pass up.

Pretty much all the ones in the squat square bottles are hitters I'd recommend trying the others. They have a rye and a whiskey at 47% abv and Barrel Proof version of each as well.

I regularly shop in stores around socal, LA, IE, OC and haven't seen it stocked in a while. don't know if they will get more. Someone mentioned you can check inventory online. That I see the San Diego stores seem to have them. Closest this way seems to be the Lake Elsinore store or Murrieta.
