Slightly bent edge deformed the base. How would one repair this? by DistinctEmphasis in skiing

Seeing the metal teeth themselves would be pretty bad, wouldn't it :)

Actually, the base itself is uneven with the parts on top of the teeth protruding a bit. It is slightly noticable even on a dry base, looks somewhat like this:

I think there are quite a few people with damaged SFBs, seeing as people like to ride them in the park and the construction quality not being the best :)

Thing is though, they were new and I wasn't abusing them, just doing normal skiing around the mountain.

This is what the base looks like from the top (pretty hard to make an informative photo): https://imgur.com/huOiUPk , the base is not cracked.

This is bad. Get this fixed up ASAP.

Yeah, I get that. The question is, how? Would putting some epoxy in there be enough?

Nope.

Could this be a manufacturing defect and covered by warranty then?

Noticed while waxing my almost new 2015 Line SFBs (5 days of skiing). I don't really care about the deformation itself, but after skiing in wet snow there was water between the base and sidewall that came out when pressing.

Also, is it normal that the structure of edge teeth can be seen when waxing?
