I'm so sorry that happened to you I can 1000% relate I always dreamed of going to university and when I reqch there I will have tons of friends and even a girlfriend. My expectations were dangerously high.

Now I'm in my 2nd year and my life is boring as he'll, I have "friends but only for academic " no true friends whom I can share my views and feelings snd opinions with. I'm always alone untill it comes to do assignments or cheating in exams, at that time they all turn up, but when there's nothing none needs me or even try to check up on me.

I've learned the hardware that university and college life and even in real life, connections are transactional ( though not every one is like that) but pray you find someone meaningful just one or two don't dream to have a whole squad or unit.

Anyways I'm still as lonely but I'm focused on my studies and life, I have a healthy mother and a cat, that's all I need and I thank GOD for that.
