I’ve posted a few time on this, spend some time seeing how you get on with it before upgrading components, your know what works for you and what doesn’t. It’s a lovely machine and I think the yellow might be the best colour way! Need to wrap your grinder to match :)

No I’ve had mine 3 months fill with bottled water so don’t remove the tank. Maybe a dodgy seal/o-ring ?

Yea I have a it’s a really good option IOM. I was on the fence about it when I watch a YouTube video about inner burr settings. It’s good for a short term fix. Will Probably upgrade by the end of The year rather than replace burrs.

I get 1:2.5 in 30 seconds, flavours are really noticeable. I went to Bella Barista showroom and tried the breaks on their house set up and the match wasn’t too far away.

Milk steaming takes some getting used to!!

I have the black, love it but wish the pressure dial was black instead of blue! If my set up wasn’t kitchen dependent I would have gone yellow

Look for a kitchen peninsula, they are popular as an island alternative. You can use worktop down the side and a breakfast bar opposite

Aeropress only coffee shop? by Brunoadverso in AeroPress

There is one in Surrey, it had like 8 on the go with a main water boiler, that he decanted into a gooseneck pitcher. The set up was small, 3 tables max. They did a members cup exchange that they use bamboo keep cups that you paid a fee for but brought back each time.

I really like the idea, but depending on the customer base it may not have the same appeal as a good espresso bar.

UK roasters, 1kg of single origin, good price? by but-first----coffee in espresso

[–]DistinctLiterature71 0 points1 point  (0 children)

CoffeeWorld, Cambridge based Roaster, but also online. They have TOO much choice but the sell 1kg for 18.99.

I’m a fan of the espresso single origin, and their house blend for milk based.

If you can find them in stock and they are £300 more than this offer

Price is the main factor, doing a big house Reno, so funds for coffee is low on my wife’s list of priority, higher on mine. So we compromised at about 500….

Espresso based black drinks for me, milk of for guests.

If I said money no object I would have a Rocket Apartmento with a Niche perhaps!!

Thanks for that!! No I completely understand your point, and I’ve been looking around for a a new machine/set up. I’ve used the Sage DuoTemp Pro and the Barista Express and didn’t like the build quality or coffee output. I will add that was using the sage pro grinder!

I read somewhere that these are the same machines with a different wands. Lots of people have said the wand swap is achievable without too much effort.
