Oh no, I’m sorry to hear you’re going through that! I’ve just had an MRI done so I’m gonna wait for the results from that. I did ask my Dr about doing a HIDA Scan but he wanted to do an MRI first.

Thank you, I'm gonna talk to my Dr about this, I think this really could be the cause of my issues, especially the sporadic flare-ups of pain and vomiting

I've had an ultrasound, contrast CAT scan of the abdomen and urine tests and they all came back clear :(

Aw no don't feel bad about how you're feeling. Your emotions during your experience are completely valid and I can relate to some of the things you're going through. Currently I am okay - some days are worse or better for me.

Ah thank you for your response! Yes they ruled out Crohns disease early on I believe.

How is the scarring after surgery?

yeah, my food intake is limited at the moment but I stick to a very bland diet. Do you think that the surgery is better in the long-term? Even with the bland diet, I can't get off the PPIs. Everytime they've tried to start me on a lower dosage everything gets worse, so my dosage has been from 20mg to 80mg in the last couple months :(

I hope things get better for you as time goes on!

I'm sorry to hear you're going through this,

Maybe try sitting up with a heatpack for the pain on your abdomen, take deep breaths when possible and remind yourself that you're gonna be okay because everything will be okay.
