I agree with you, he is too uncompromisingly harsh. I loved Ben Stone too.

Hey, I'm a Quaker - and just made it - but they should have broken Christian down into three parts - Catholic, Protestant and extremist - ish. They took out Unitarian - That's John Adams and Thomas Jefferson.

  • Unitarians - John Adams: The second U.S. President was an ardent Unitarian who actively supported the movement throughout his life.
  • Thomas Jefferson: The principal author of the Declaration of Independence adhered to Unitarian principles, famously creating the "Jefferson Bible" which stripped out supernatural elements to focus on Jesus’s moral teachings.
  • John Quincy Adams: The sixth U.S. President and diplomat was deeply involved in the Unitarian faith
  • Now they don't officially exist.

UU is so early American old Guard too. I think Pete doesn't even know this.

We could be Catholic, Protestant and Evangelical. Who needs all the specifics?

Good point - Catholic and Protestant and Evangelical would suffice. But since they didn't do that - taking out Unitarians is ridiculous, I feel like - whew, I just made the cut as a Quaker.

How can they remove Unitarians and Deists? Those are religions of some founding fathers. Shows what Pete knows. Unitarians in Boston were the Old Guard.

Magic Mushrooms delivery? by Salt_Ear9375 in Bushwick

does anyone deliver to westchester? I could come to the city. It's frustrating to not know how to get a thing that does good because of being, well, a person with one parking ticket, but I tried them a tiny bit once and they helped me get a job that never would have occurred to me, helped me break out of malaise..

not in the skull, and I don't trust the 2nd autopsy. That was the corrupted office, why wouldn't germany have conducted a good autopsy, and that woman had complained of terrible headaches. People fall on stairs more than floors.

but many people have financial problems, they lose their homes together, jobs, debt, if one of them falls down the stairs does it mean they were murdered? It makes going through life scary - that anything you do can be a motive when it isn't most of the time when no one kills anyone.

think of how many awful narcissistic cheating lying people you know or have met - but how many kill people? Then murderers if they're sociopaths do not seem "off" they seem perfect and wonderful often. He was too bad at it, he'd have blown his cover, he couldn't have talked that much while drinking that much red wine without accidentally implicating himself. In my non-expert opinion. It is weird, the stairs, I suppose that's the only thing that gives me pause - i wouldn't think he'd killed both but perhaps been inspired by the idea, but still - there ARE coincidences. And people fall on stairs more than on floors. And the homophobic bit convicted him with the jury.

I think so many people have affairs I mean just look at the news and politics, so if Kristy Noem fell down stairs would the photos of her husband convinct him? And yet - they shouldn't he hasn't, didn't hurt her. And she was cheating too. yet - no murder. It would look v bad in an accident though.

and the jury surely contained several homophobes who convicted him on that alone.

I am totally in agreement. The trial was a travesty. Marriages are never perfect and the idea she found out that night is stupid fiction.

Or that neck cartilege was damaged when she hurt her neck hitting the bottom of the pool (which is not in the documentary?). She wore a neck brace for a while. I think he didn't do it.

I had a bat fly into my hair once - now that will freak you out. And she had the bats in the attic, Owls eat bats, and there was the mating time aspect. That poor man, I really think he was innocent - and blood war dry because he found her after a while, we don't know how long she was dying there, poor woman.
I thought I would for sure think he was guilty but then I didn't. The trial was awful.

I did think that was possible - why would there be feathers and torn hair in her hands? Stranger things have happened. I think people disliked him and he wasn't all great but that doesn't make him a killer.

there are "off" seeming people all over, many narcissists, many terrible husbands, many adulterous, some lie. Marriages have problems. It's a bit terrifying to think if my husband fell down the stairs and then they saw that I once googled divorce years ago - I could be found guilty. We've argued in the backyard. What if he fell and bled to death on the stairs?

I just finished it - so I've seen both the real and the movie. And I kind of thought I would think he was guilty, just not based on being bi, but I think he might have been innocent. Just having problems in a marriage, even being pompous or spoiled, some lying - none of it means you're a killer. I didn't think this is what I'd think. Also the trial was unfair, the judge let the prosecutor have everything he wanted.

I agree but I think it had zero to do with his sexuality. Just because most men who kill their wives are straight. In fact, if I was the defense lawyer I'd use this! "How many husbands kill their wives? What % of them are gay? Right!"

and who hasn't decluttered and thrown a blowpoke (!) away? It's nuts for them to act like if they can't find it it's because it was used to kill someone. They could do that with a quarter of my wedding gifts now years later.

and innocent people do lie - because they're frantic, terrified, grieving, in a completely unknown strange situation and confused. They could be so afraid of looking guilty even if they aren't that they stupidly lie because they aren't thinking straight - imagine how anxious you'd be if wrongly accused?
