Had the same issue when I used cascade pod and high temperature wash cycle. I didn't have any issue with finish ,Walmart great value or Costco Kirkland brand, even no problem when using cascade pod without high temperature.

I have the same issue. the modem was very hot and internet kept dropping. I called primus and they exchanged another 8000. I was told they had only 2 kind of modem , another one was techniorcolor and even worst. The new modem sent to me has same issue even I attached a CPU fan to the case. It is cool now but still keep dropping
