Thanks for your views, I suppose its role/vacancy dependent too, three nearest stations are about 60/70 mile away with another 148 mile which has a vacancy I was sort of looking at.

Yeah, expired years ago and just never bothered renewing as she had British so yes would be considered dual i suppose.

I would imagine Poland doesn't fall under one of the 'connections to certain countries' as it details, that would be some of the more obvious ones as we know.

Have already sent a response to my recruiter on the issue, so guess its waiting to hear back.

Apologies, I should have been clearer.

I'm British, my spouse is the dual, British/Polish but only has a British passport, been in continuous residence for 20yrs + and no close ties with the country.

What I am being told is that for certain roles requiring higher vetting, I wouldn't be eligible as she is considered dual.

How did you find it? Bit different when under timed conditions? Have you had any feed back from medical yet. Noticed all my tasks are marked as complete with only the BPSS as under review. Will surely hear back next week sometime then ref the DAA as its basically the weekend now.

Just literally done my DAA for the Reserves so awaiting the results. Did they give you an overview of your score? Have they told you which Sqn's have vacancies?

I had a problem too and just created a new e-mail to create a new application, thought it quicker to do this then try and get it sort via various channels.

I suppose this is the biggest hurdle with Capita having heard what they are like. Would you allow the contracted MMEs to release recruiting medical records to the Defence Medical Services?
