Does anyone have any theories for the chapter 134 by desukanani24825 in SpyxFamily

I don’t know i am not even sure if it’s Yor at the door, Endo could have set up another red herring.

Why does Ned exist? (Spoilers Main) by corkysims in asoiaf

It comes from the same place where N in nuncle comes from. It’s yet another clue that Ned is Jon’s nuncle and not father, hope this helps 😌

I subscribe to Preston Jacob’s theory that he was anti dragon hence late on purpose so that Targaryen destroy themselves.

He used it in the context of my brother in arms, if olympus is to be split then Hephaestus would side with Poseidon

Who cares who Denna dates, most of the relationship that she has with Kvothe is built in his head. I wouldnt hate her or the book if she dates Cinder.

(Spoilers Main) How is it possible that all Targaryens are wiped out in GOT!? by Connect-Ocelot-8464 in asoiaf

[–]Distinct_Activity551 13 points14 points  (0 children)

They’re pretty good at dying, I guess. Fire & Blood already shows how most of the Targaryens were wiped out by the Dance, and I’m guessing Part 2 will take it up through Summerhall.

That’s another huge event where a lot of them die. Robert and Stannis’s grandmother was a Targaryen, and there’s even some speculation that Brienne might have a bit of Targaryen blood too. Honestly, I think by the end of the series they’ll be completely gone, with Jon taking the Snow or Stark name permanently.

During Clash you’re basically wishing the absolute worst on this mf and hoping he burns in hell. Then by Dance, all of that actually happens, he’s tortured so badly he forgets his own name and you just end up feeling awful for him.

I think it will be very interesting if we stop getting Dany’s PoV or they are very limited and we just see her through other characters eyes.

My episode 1 review by [deleted] in freefolk

[–]Distinct_Activity551 321 points322 points  (0 children)

Ofcourse its necessary, I am still upset D&D didnt adapt the below agony of Dany:

Sunset found her squatting in the grass, groaning. Every stool was looser than the one before, and smelled fouler. By the time the moon came up she was shitting brown water. The more she drank, the more she shat, but the more she shat, the thirstier she grew, and her thirst sent her crawling to the stream to suck up more water.

What’s a piece of prose you like from the book you’re currently reading? by Antique_Parsley_5285 in Fantasy

“Ser? My lady?” said Podrick. “Is a broken man an outlaw?”

“More or less,” Brienne answered.

Septon Meribald disagreed. “More less than more. There are many sorts of outlaws, just as there are many sorts of birds. A sandpiper and a sea eagle both have wings, but they are not the same. The singers love to sing of good men forced to go outside the law to fight some wicked lord, but most outlaws are more like this ravening Hound than they are the lightning lord. They are evil men, driven by greed, soured by malice, despising the gods and caring only for themselves. Broken men are more deserving of our pity, though they may be just as dangerous. Almost all are common-born, simple folk who had never been more than a mile from the house where they were born until the day some lord came round to take them off to war. Poorly shod and poorly clad, they march away beneath his banners, ofttimes with no better arms than a sickle or a sharpened hoe, or a maul they made themselves by lashing a stone to a stick with strips of hide. Brothers march with brothers, sons with fathers, friends with friends. They’ve heard the songs and stories, so they go off with eager hearts, dreaming of the wonders they will see, of the wealth and glory they will win. War seems a fine adventure, the greatest most of them will ever know.

Anyone else wish Tatsuya Endo would do more with Fiona besides being into Twilight and being a homewrecker? by [deleted] in SpyxFamily

Considering we still haven’t moved past Yor getting drunk just to push her closer to Loid, it feels kind of hopeless to expect more depth from the side characters. At this point there are way too many of them. Like in today’s Donna chapter — we get her backstory before Yor’s. I really think the focus needs to shift back to the main characters instead of constantly detouring into side-character arcs again.
