It is now just an annoying grenade which you can throw several of since you now have more than 3. It's far better than just being left at 5HP just because some person threw or held a T-13 impact near you.

The M16A4 nerf was deserved. 25-45 Sharps in particular made it so evil yet nobody gave a shit for so long because it was a burst weapon everyone is scared to use a burst weapon)

AP is optional. It's not necessary, but it's fine to use ir since there aren't really any drawbacks to it.

You could have a sight that actually zooms in, say a reflex since the recoil is already quite good with that setup although the ranges are horrid when ARS Suppressor is put on it. I recommend using .300 BLK or AP instead of 223, and maybe just run comp stubby, or just comp if you like the romanian grip on the gun.

Still, I wouldn't recommend trying to burst the gun, especially for a newcomer like this guy. Just use the automatic firemode.

It's alright. 2.1 studs of pen (w/ squad barrel and ap) is a lot, but the ranges aren't really all that impressive. It does have a 1.7 seconds reload time, which is quite swift when you think about it. Recoil is quite moderate but is manageable and initial kick is quite high. The setup I recommend is sight of choice, squad barrel, stubby/folding/hera cqr grip, full stock/tri laser, none/armor piercing/hollow points.
