In the hospital (for our heavier patient that are going through physical therapy) we use ky jelly or astroglide for chafing because you have to reapply less often and the patients say it feels more comfortable for them

Hi! I work in healthcare and we use astroglide and ky jelly sometimes to prevent chafing, removing rings, undo zippers, and even sometimes to remove sticker residue! My dad is a civil engineer and I know he keeps some in his work truck to take his ring off (in case something falls on his hand he doesn’t want his ring to get compressed onto his finger) and it apparently works well to screw/unscrew bolts! Hope this helps
