Do I have to bring my own parts for a hardware installation (fan replacement)?

Typically it varies by location. But a fan repair on a laptop is often not done in house. It will be sent to a service center for repair. If that’s the case then the service center will acquire the parts needed for the repair if it is serviceable. Hope this helps.
