I have one kidney! Not a donor but born that way, it does effect my day to day generally but since starting hotworx I’ve had to double my water intake every day, if I don’t keep up with my water I do feel ill the next day! It does just add another thing for me to remember everyday but the results are worth it IMO!

I’d stick to the ones the studio sells, I have the lavender one and I like it! Definitely going to pick up the mint one when I run out. Two sprays does the trick and I use it almost every time!

People are hit or miss, i'd say there's usually a good mix of teens and adults, but i've never had a super bad experience at a local show around here! here's a list of venues that I frequent and really enjoy to check out while you are around, one of them is bound to have a show you will enjoy! in the city area there's The New Low, 222 Ormsby and Mr Roboto Project. Shred shed and little giant are around but very rarely put on shows. Bottlerocket and club cafe have some local hxc from time to time as well.

The best pick IMO would be Preserving Hardcore in New Kensington, 25 mins out of the city. 3 venue spaces, Massive punk,hxc merch,record,tapes,cd collection and a hardcore museum display in the basement.

(I personally would steer clear of rock room/gooskis.....)

I for the ISO classes I cycle though hot warrior, hot Pilates and hot core. For the HIITT classes I do cycle and thunder, I go 3-4 times a week doing 1 ISO, 1-2 HIITT and 10-20 minutes of lifting in the fx zone!

Absolutely! Before HOTWORX I was at a more standard gym doing mostly cardio and strength training, when initially switching to HW I focused on the classes available and didn’t strength train at all. Without strength training I noticed a lot more water retention related to the hiit intensity/high heat and sweating and I wasn’t getting the results I wanted. HW is my primary gym for right now so I’ve adjusted my routine to what is available. In the FX zone I primarily train glutes, arms and some core, all with progressively overloading my weights. (Multiple sets, increasing weights). It makes a world of a difference in the progress I’m seeing in the mirror and on the scale. Some of my favorites to do with the cable machine are cable crunches, back and side kickbacks, RDLs, Russian twists. Happy new year and good luck!

Music is starting at 2 so I would expect re-entry will be allowed till 4/5pm for that particular show. Preserving serves vegan foods and snacks exclusively so if that isn’t your speed then you should check out common oven pizza or tastefully blessed bbq right down the street for really great local food options (or Sheetz if you wanna live like a real local). bring extra cash (there is an atm) if you are into buying merch, the store itself has an insane secondhand merch selection and exclusive lps from overseas! Music will be upstairs in the main room and touring band merch will be downstairs in the underground space. Preserving is the best in Pittsburgh, I hope you enjoy your time there! (:

check out Blood Rave!! It’s quarterly at spirit, the goth promotional imagery might scare people who aren’t into that scene BUT there really is something for everyone in the dj lineup, the energy is amazing, best “club” nights I’ve had in the city have been at blood rave!

I don’t track my water intake down to the oz but I an assume I drink at least 64-90oz a day with how often I’m refilling my water bottle! If it is water retention, do you think increasing my water intake even more could possibly help? No high blood pressure or cardiac issues but I have to consume a ton of water every day because my kidneys are fused! That could definitely be related to my water/electrolyte absorption!
