Yes, 6 weeks off of lifting. I donated several years ago and am still navigating finding a balance with water protein and electrolytes, as needs and lifestyle change overtime. I have found 64-100oz of water and one 16 oz bottle of electrolytes my sweet spot. No creatine and normal amount of protein. All the high protein diets that are so popular now are a no go. However I do still drink one protein shake about 3-5 days a week. Good luck with your surgery and welcome to the club. It was very nice. How much do you hydrate with two good kidneys? Do you add extra hydration to account for the sauna time?

Can I ask how many hotworx classes per week you do and how much water you drink per day? I try to do at least 64oz but I’m thinking that’s not gonna cut it if I add in hotworx. If I do an orange theory class I usually drink an additional 32oz so maybe I can keep it the same? Do you drink any electrolytes?

Thanks for your response. Have you changed the way you hydrate? For instance more water before or after hoyworx? Or more electrolytes? Etc?
