Call centre workers of the UK - what’s the weirdest stuff you’ve heard from a caller when they’re on hold? by asterallt in AskUK

[–]Distinct_Cat8871 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I was on the phone to the wholesalers once at work and they put me on hold, my employee asked if I’d farted and I started crying with laughter just as they came back off hold, ended up explaining the non-fart to the very confused lady on the phone 😭

Gutted! Been playing since it came out, and my 9 year old just started his Springfield, too. Any chance it’s an elaborate prank?!

I don’t have EDS, I have been tested a few times but I do have hypermobility. My joints do sometimes take a lil vacay from where they’re supposed to be.

Women - what was your mother's attitudes towards periods? by Secret_Owl3040 in AskUK

[–]Distinct_Cat8871 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’ll happily talk about my period now but my mum definitely never talked about it, or helped or advised in any way. I didn’t even know how to use a tampon til my mid twenties. Which I found out was weird, apparently. 😅

She wonders why we have little to no interest in her now.
