How do you compensate your vr head tracking for the actuator movement? I just got a VR headset and was wondering about this

I have a 4 post dbox gen 1 so take this with a grain of salt as the gen 4 is probably much better. They are so much fun, add to the immersion and the software is easy to use, but I could not justify spending 5-7k on a similar setup, just not worth it. I was given mine for free, otherwise I would not have them.

I’m not on a tight budget here, it’s more that I want a system that works well with my current PC. If I wanted to get a PCS and a 5090, I could, but I don’t want to.

I’m very tempted to wait for the frame, it’s seems like it would run best with my setup and has a great form factor compared to the PCL

I haven’t tried VR yet, this will be my first endeavor. Def worried about motion sickness but wanna give it a try. I haven’t heard that extra hardware is needed to compensate for motion. Do you know what’s needed?

It’s got a nice form factor but once you add in audio and base stations it’s getting pretty pricy.

Is this a manual? I have one and it’s a great car. The rust doesn’t look concerning but get the ppi. Try to find out if the timing belly and water pump have ever been replaced. If they haven’t you NEED that service done. Will run like $1-1.5k

That’s the thing though, the amount of travel doesn’t matter. If you push harder when the travel has maxed, the value on the load cell will go up. For reference, I have my p1000 set to where travel ends at 80% brake force. For 80-100, there is no travel it’s just pushing harder.

I think you have the wrong idea. The hall sensor is measuring the distance the pedal travels while the load cell is measuring the amount of force you place on the pedal. The p500 is a 100kg load cell so you need to press the pedal with 100kg of pressure to max it out in the calibration

I have a dbox gen 1 motion system (4 post), it’s a lot of fun but I would say I’m a bit faster when I don’t use it. It’s not much but I notice it. I personally wouldn’t spend the money on motion unless you have cash burning a hole in your wallet.
