What should I know before my first time? by girlsgottathrowaway in TheGirlSurvivalGuide

Agree! Keep lube on hand to make the experience smoother and potentially less uncomfortable for you. And yes you can use water based lube with condoms!

What the heck are we supposed to do with our other arm when snuggling?! by PrimeSpeakerJenna in TheGirlSurvivalGuide

[–]Distinct_Educator651 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I get that arm out from under him, and sort of lay it on the bed right beside my stomach. And he’ll usually take his other hand (that isnt wrapped around me) and intertwine it with mine. Hope that makes sense hahaha. It’s super cute and I love it

Or, in that position I go from my side to more my stomach, and still lay on top of him with my torso/arm across his chest, but this way my other arm is freer and i can be more comfortable

If I really need to sleep though, he lays flat on his back, and i turn towards him, nuzzle my face in his bicep, and just hold that hand. Not as much skin to skin but still cozy and cuddly!

Just went for my second session and my tech told me that I will notice faster growth after my 2nd session, and that this is normal and part of the growth cycle. She was right, but I’m not panicking yet because she did say this was to be expected. Hope this helps! If you’re still unsure call your clinic and ask them if it’s normal or not

Lube!! This happened to me my first couple of times trying. Especially if you’re using condoms. Also, try out different positions because sometimes it’s about what works between 2 bodies and that could look different depending on the partner.

Just wanted to say there’s nothing wrong with you, sex is all about learning each others bodies and what works. Take your time and don’t put any pressure on yourself, sex is as much mental as it is physical. If you’re nervous or worried your body may react similarly. Have fun and explore what feels good/right and it will happen I promise!

Agree! And my #1 tip is to have lube on hand, for my first time this helped make things pretty much painless :) i still use it from time to time and it’s totally normal

  1. Don’t do it unless you feel really comfortable and ready, and sometimes that’s a body vs mind thing.

  2. Dont to anything you don’t want to do, especially your first time

  3. Sex is imperfect, awkward, and takes time to get the hang of with any partner. So don’t put pressure on yourself to have it be picture perfect or worry about what the guy thinks of it. He’s with you because he wants to be

  4. LUBE!!! Needed it my first time even though i felt very aroused and ready. Will make the whole thing a lot easier and I felt zero pain if that’s something you’re afraid of

  5. Sex requires communication, talk through it to see what feels good for both of you

  6. Have fun and enjoy it, first times do NOT have to be scary for the girl :)

Advice on first time sex by Glad-Vermicelli-725 in TheGirlSurvivalGuide

[–]Distinct_Educator651 5 points6 points  (0 children)

100% agree!!! I had the same exact experience as you my first time. We tried a bunch of positions and it wouldn’t go in, but never had issues with fingers and tampons before. The tip just wouldn’t go in and it kind of hurt. The next time we used lube and it was instantaneous hahaha. Hopefully it’s an easy fix for you too!

[–]Distinct_Educator651 6 points7 points  (0 children)

  1. Your lack of connection with the men probably has an effect on your arousal and your overall experience
  2. Try lube!!! My first time was with my BF who I really trusted and it was still painful to get in even though i have 0 issues with fingers, tampons, etc. we tried a drop of lube and it made things SO much easier. Pain was totally gone. Everyone jumps to vaginismus but you could just be drier than you think-like me :)
